This summer I am all about braiding! I did another braided hair tutorial here a few weeks ago. I feel like I am the last one to jump on the train of the Fishtail braid, but here we go! I’ll be demonstrating an updo that took me about 10-15 minutes.
Begin by taking your hair and loosely arranging it (sort of braiding), and secure it with an elastic.
After securing, start your fishtail braid.
If you have never done the Fishtail before, here are some quick and simple directions:
1. Divide your hair into two sections.
2. Take a thin piece from the outside of the right strand and join it with the left strand.
3. Take a thin piece from the outside of the left strand and join it with the right strand.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until your braid is at your preferred length, and secure with an elastic.
Loosen and pull strands of the braid to create a fuller and thicker look.
Twist up into a bun and pin. You’re done!
