I have YET to find a person that did not like Target. What is it about that place??
I don’t think I’ve ever, ever, ever gone to Target and left with just one thing. Ever. I think that says more about me than it says about Target.
Seriously, though. “I left Target with the one thing I came in here for,” said no one. Ever.
Sometimes I don’t even really go to Target to purchase anything, but I stroll aimlessly down the aisles, hunched over a red shopping cart; oohing and ahhing, touching and admiring–and eventually dropping things in the basket. Deodorant, new toothbrush, Pine-Sol, Thank You cards, a picture frame…
I actually didn’t drop my mint green skirt in my Target shopping cart, but when I saw it on the Target website I added it to my virtual shopping cart. These ponte knit skirts are perfect. They come in over five colors and they are reasonably priced. I actually paid $25 for mine, but they are currently on sale for $19.99 on the Target site. Per the website these skirts are not sold in stores (at the moment).
I have five of these skirts (not this style, but made of the same fabric) that I’ve purchased from Target over the past year and they are great. I usually order one size up because I wear the skirt lower on the hips so the skirt’s hem can cover my knees when I sit. The skirts come in xs-xxl. This particular skirt has a hem that can be let out, too!
When it comes to taking care of the skirts I wash them inside out on a delicate cycle and with super low heat. I had to get rid of two of my skirts back in November because they became infested with lint balls! Once this happened I started washing the skirts together–not with anything else and with the method I just mentioned.
Oh, Target. I wish I knew how to quit you.

Target gets me every time! I want their entire womens’ clothing section, haha. LOVE the mint color of this skirt, so great for spring!

Hi Sharon,
They have so many nice things for spring! Brandon and I went to Target “JUST BECAUSE” the other night and I was able to peruse the clothing section (of course) and spotted some great things!

Seriously! They always say “Did you find everything you were looking for?’, it’s like “yes, and ten other things!”. I have actually been avoiding Target lately, just because I can’t seem to leave with only the things I needed… Love those skirts, and your shoes are amazing!

I’m going to start avoiding Target starting today! Ohhhh, it shall be hard, but I shall be victorious! Ha! I actually put myself on a Target fast for about two months last year and I am proud to say that I survived!

Hi Sasha!! I was happy to stop by and leave a comment. I started following because of the VISA giveaway! Have you ever visited PursuitofShoes.com? Well, if you haven’t you must! I’ve purchased several pairs of Zara shoes after Ashley blogged about them!!
Hi, niece! You just look too cute for words in your outfit, thank you for the link. I just placed an order for your little cousin and she will get 5 skirts in a matter of days. Like you, she wears her skirts lower to have more length at the bottom so these will fit her perfectly. I always look up the web sites that you post of your recent finds, so this helped out a lot. Love you much, Auntie Marilyn =)
AUNTIE MAYMAY!!!! YAY! Aw. I got really homesick when I read your comment. I miss you! I’m glad that Cam is getting some new skirts! I hope she likes them all! Love you!
I just went and bought one online! I can always use a good pencil skirt! Thanks for the link!
Woooooooohoo! That’s awesome, Carmen!! Please wear it and show us in one of your blog posts! Be sure to tag it with #momomod on Instagram, too!
I promise to do that as soon as I get it!
Knit pencil skirts are the best thing ever. they are the pencil skirt for the girl who never thought she could wear a pencil skirt. and you can’t beat the price.
I, however, can say that i’ve gone into target and left with only the things I came for.
Having me some serious Target envy right now…love the skirt in either {both} colours.

Amazing outfit! I love it:)

That’s a really pretty skirt! Target is just now entering the Canadian market, in another few months the first one will open in Winnipeg where I live and I am very excited. And this skirt is very exciting! I really, really hope that Target Canada will carry the same products as it does in the USA. Canada’s Walmart doesn’t, their clothes are completely different from what their American stores carry.
Thank you for another example of a truly modest and beautiful, oh and well priced, piece of clothing!
That skirt looks so great on you. I love the mint color. I feel the same as you about Target. My mom has always claimed that she doesn’t like Target. I do not understand how anyone can feel that way.

I also have a love affair with Target. It feels so wrong but yet so right, lol! The skirt looks great on you. I totally understand about buying something in multiple color ways b/c you know it will flatter you.
