“Really?” I asked. “Why not?”
“It doesn’t go. It’s too much,” he replied.
GASP! Too much? Hasn’t he seen Pinterest? I’m supposed to wear all the things (stripes, plaid, arm party, leopard, a vest, etc.)!!!
After looking at the pictures, I figured he was right. The sequins are already over the top, and I just didn’t think the fur was necessary. The fur was a no-go for church. Husband 2, Wife 0 (read here).
Brandon and I are taking our holiday pictures at San Francisco City Hall today, and after much thought (okay…not really), I decided to wear my sequin maxi skirt for the pictures. Brandon’s such a good sport; I was talking to one of my male coworkers and he said he could not believe that I somehow get my husband to take professional pictures every year. When I was growing up, our family wasn’t big on pictures. There’s plenty of my sister and me, but very few of our entire family together. I’m starting our picture taking tradition before we have children. B’s got a snazzy new black suit, a pair of polka dot Happy Socks, and some clean looking Magnanni shoes. Woohoo!
If sequins are your thing, read this post I wrote a couple weeks ago.
